Window slider card - Fancy Fold blog hop

We are in March already - this year is going to fast. Summer is over here in Australia, but these first couple of months of autumn are still as hot and humid as summer.

Easter is only a few weeks away and i thought this month's Window Slider card would be perfect for the Easter Bunny stamp set and punch.

We are again using a tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, she does a lot of great folds and use to follow tutorials.

This one is also easy to follow and would be very cute for any kids card.

Here is my card I made with the Easter Bunny

My card base is Granny Apple Green with a layer of the green patterned paper from the Dandy Designs designer series paper which was available during Sale-a-bration. This is obviously no longer available, but can be substituted with any designer series paper.

The great thing about this card is that it is just a standard card base with a couple of score lines and a couple of cut lines. Remember to stick the DSP on the front of the card before cutting, it makes it much easier 😊

When i looked at the different stamps in the set and realised that i needed to one bunny to face the opposite way, so i had to do some mirror stamping using the Stamparatus and the silicone mat. It is really easy and doesn't take long.

After stamping I did some masking so I could stamp the grass at the bottom and i also did a bit of ink blending with Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue to give a bit of extra green and some blue sky.

I coloured the bunny with Blends - Smoke Slate and Petal Pink.

I coloured the other bunny the same way and punched it out as it was slightly too big to stamp on the piece of cardstock.

I also stamped the little butterfly and coloured it in with Mango Melody and Polished Pink Blends.

On the other side of the bottom white layer i stamped the eggs and the Happy Easter. I lined the words up in the Stamparatus and then only inked half the stamp, then repositioned and stamped the other half. You can also cut this stamp in half if you wish. I often do that with stamps that can be used either separate or in different 'order'.

This was a quick and easy card to make and super cute with the slider mechanism. And with the punch it is even faster.

I hope you like my card and give this fold a try. Leave a comment below, so I know you were here and hop along and check the other creations - Gina always makes great projects.

The current host code is UCFKFGWD, make sure to use it to get a little extra from me.

The January-April mini catalogue only has about 7 weeks left and things will start sell out. Make sure to get what you want before it is gone. When something is gone, it will not get replenished.

And don't forget we now also have online exclusive products, these are available while supplies last, so if there is something you really want don't delay getting it.

We have been advised, that a colour refresh will be happening with the new catalogue in May. When you are a demonstrator you get prior notice of these things and are able to pre-order, that means that demonstrators can pre-order new products and and NEW COLOURS early, woot woot.

If you are in Australia and would like to join my team, you are more than welcome and can choose $235 worth of products for only $169.

See you next month for another fancy fold

happy stamping
